So I didn’t have any new ideas for today. Nothing created, except for a lot of plans.
I want to do mehndi, that is henna. My daughter is always ready to let me draw on her hands and feet.
Plan a trip to South Utah to see the five big national parks. My daughter wants to do this before she starts a difficult college year.
Plan a drought resistant front and back yard. We have got too many letters from our HOA about the lack of ‘curb appeal’ of our yard. This is the year we will hopefully start thinking about it, maybe next year my husband will finally agree to get it done.
My daughter’s favorite Christmas was the one in which we had a scavenger hunt for the kids. This year we will have family visiting and I want to plan another scavenger hunt, for young adults. That will be a challenge.
I am reading a book, Uprooted by Naomi Novik, I think I will do a review on it.
We will have some family visiting in the second week of September. I will cook a new to me dish. What will it be? I don’t know yet. Possibly something Italian. Any ideas?
That seems to be enough creativity for a month, don’t you think?
I started this with my daughter in August, it’s a mother-daughter project. I love the shades of all the colors. There’s something very meditative about holding each piece and trying to figure where it goes.
Today was a good day, let’s see what tomorrow brings.
